Released internationally on May 17, 2011, Polish studio CD Projekt RED has developed another third-person role playing video game that is sure to lift you off your seat in excitement and anticipation. The video game is the sequel to the 2007 video game The Witcher entitled The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The game is based on the book series of the same name by the Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
The Witcher puts you in the shoes or role of Geralt of Rivia, the last of his kind called a Witcher. They are genetically enhance and trained in the deadliest skills and their man purpose is to do battle against supernatural creatures.It offers a total of 16 different endings. Players can have a variety of decisions throughout the game, the same with the original, and follow different kinds of situations. The game has been a critical and commercial success selling around 1 million units, and is one of the most anticipated titles on the PC platform because of its exclusivity.
